It worked! We fooled a lot of people with this April Fool’s joke/ marketing video for jer3miah.com. It’s all in fun, and the goal was to make an uber-shareable viral video that directed viewers to the site.
We used facebook and email to spread the word about the new campus policy, directing them to ProvoCola.com where the video is found. That site (and the video itself) invites viewers to visit Jer3miah.com to watch our webseries... and it worked. It increased site traffic over 400%, smashing the previous record for daily hits.
Aside from writing, producing, and shooting this, I also photoshopped the new drink flavor ads. The whole project is making me thirsty.
